Snow!!

Wow!!! It snowed in southwest Mississippi yesterday (12/11/08)!! It started out as rain; then frozen rain; then sleet; then sleet and snow; then big beautiful flakes of snow! It was beautiful except for the ice that formed on the roads.

Schools closed all in this area of the state because we don't know how to drive in this stuff. It's foreign to us. But we sure know how to play in it. The kids built a snowman in the front yard. They went to the neighbors house and had a snowball fight. The only bummer was the electricity went out around 8:45 AM yesterday, and it still wasn't on when I left for work this morning. Needless to say, I didn't get to take a shower this morning in 51 degrees F inside my house. I was just so happy that I had a roof over my head, warm blankets on my body, a warm hubby next to me, and a fire in the fireplace. Thank God for many favors!
